How NOT to stand in line for 2 hours for lunch...

Reservations made!!!!!!
(insert happy dance here)

I took Grace here for lunch on her 16th birthday as we were seeing the "movie sites" of NYC. (gotta love John Cusack: Serendipity)

The two of us have been dreaming about it ever since! I tried to take Doug when we were in NYC before our anniversary cruise a couple years ago, but they don't take dessert-only reservations and the line to get in is always about 2 hours long.

Today I made our lunch reservations for Monday, May 9th. I can't wait to introduce Doug to frozen hot chocolate.

YUM!

  1. Hm - I may have to watch that movie in your honor... It'll be rough but I'll do it for you guys :)

  2. I know, I know, not a high enough BPM for your movie tastes, Kristi, and entirely too cheesy. What I can I say, we like some forms of cheesy romances. :) Especially those set in NYC!

  3. I love that you have made lunch reservations for next month on the other side of the continent. Undoubtedly this is the primary reason we are friends. I just took the kids on a field trip that I made reservations for last August. Hehe. Hey, when do you want to go out for your birthday lunch? Yay!

  4. Well, Rachel, you keep asking me if I'm ready to go. Almost there! ;)
